Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurates the new theater of the Faculty of Girls after its renovation

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shawki El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the new Faculty of Girls’ theater after the completion of its development in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof.Dr. Ruqaiya Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Shaer, Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, and a group of faculty staff at Ain Shams University.

The university president confirmed that the opening of the faculty of Girls Theater after its renovation comes within the framework of the development system that the university is witnessing in all its parts (faculties - buildings - class rooms - theaters and others) in addition to developing the educational process.

He added that the benefit from the theater will be great, as conferences, graduation ceremonies and other activities that support the university's cultural role will be held in it.

He also announced that the coming period will witness the maintenance of the faculty class rooms and its various buildings, as well as the faculty’s control rooms, examination halls, the swimming pool and the gymnasiums, which is beneficial to Faculty of Girls students, praising the role of the Faculty scientifically, culturally and historically, and the various departments it includes in various sciences, arts and education

He also praised the scientific and societal role that the faculty plays through the faculty staff and graduates of the faculty.

He also praised the faculty and its ancient history, as well as its organization of several charitable markets, which had a great role in helping unable students.

Prof. Dr. Rukayah Shalaby, Dean of Faculty of Girls, confirmed that the theater was renovated according to the latest international systems and specialized expertise houses through consultants and professors of the Faculty of Engineering at the university, pointing out that it is ready for operation and is attached to the reception rooms on the main floor, and it has an air-conditioned basement for exhibitors and changing rooms.

It also has some special lights on stage, sound control room, lighting and curtains, also equipped with soundproofing, 508 chairs with an area of 640 meters.

The opening activities witnessed the honoring of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, to Prof. Dr. Rukaiya Shalaby, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Artist Samira Abdel-Aziz, Artist Raja Hussein, Artist Magdy Subhi and Director Dr. Sameh Al-Shawadi, and Professors from the Faculty of Engineering were honored for supervising the theater.

The faculty of girls’ choir made a distinguished performance that was praised by the attendees, and Memorial photos that gathered university leaderships with students and the choir team were taken.
