The President of the University honors students of the Faculty of Law for their arrival in the semi-final round of the Moot Trials Competition organized by the University of Oxford

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, honored the students of the Faculty of Law participating in the regional competition for Moot Trials Competition organized by the University of Oxford after they reached the semi-final round of the competition, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Safi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shawky Salim, former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.

Where prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, praised what the Faculty of Law students have achieved by reaching the semi-finals in the competition, calling on them to exert more effort until they win the first place.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, said that the Ain Shams rights team has achieved an unprecedented achievement by qualifying for the ninth time in a row for the international rounds of the mock trials competition organized by Oxford University after reaching the semi-final round in the regional competition for the Middle East region.

The Price Media Mock Trial Competition is one of the largest international pleadings competitions, in which law students from all countries participate, and it is a unique competition as it organizes regional tours in every region in the world, and through these regional tours the teams qualify for the international tours organized by Before Oxford University in Britain.

The participating teams present written submissions held by international judges, and then the participating teams plead oral pleadings before other judges. Qualification is based on the results of both written arguments and notes.

Eleven teams from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine and other countries participated in the regional competition, and the Ain Shams University team was the only team that qualified from the Egyptian teams.

The team of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University is the only team in the Middle East region that consistently qualifies in all years for the international competition from the year 2013 until now.

The team included Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fathy Khalifa, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Dehum supervise the activity, Mr. Ali Adel Abdel Fattah, Prof. Rahma Saeed Al Khashab is trained, and students are Ola Emad El Din Zakaria from the third year, Waad Tarik Mahmoud from the fourth year, Fadi Hamdi Muhammad from the fourth year, Donia Ashraf Kamal from the fourth year, Rawan Ismail Muhammad from the third year.
