The Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University will hold its eighth and sixth international scientific conference entitled "Strategic Planning for Quality Education in Light of Global Challenges and Changes" Prospects and Solutions ", from May 17 to May 19, 2021, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and headed by Prof. Osama El-Sayed Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadri, Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Vice President of the Conference.
Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed stated that the conference seeks to develop scientific research trends in qualitative higher education to keep pace with modern scientific developments, and to analyze and evaluate the role of strategic planning for scientific research in support of qualitative higher education programs in Egypt and the Arab world, as well as seeking to improve the lives of Egyptian and Arab citizens in the governorate. On the natural environment for generations of researchers, in addition to developing strategic planning for qualitative education and stating the importance of research participation for Egyptian and Arab researchers in achieving the planning capacity for scientific research and increasing the strategic planning capacity to solve community issues.
Prof. Dr. Osama explained that the conference seeks to encourage communication between scientific and research bodies in Egyptian and Arab universities to raise the quality of scientific research, to identify general concepts of strategic and informational planning mechanisms for scientific research, to contribute to the development of human and scientific resources, to maintain quality standards, and to develop proposed scenarios for the development of qualitative higher education programs in Egypt and the Arab world in light of a strategic plan through its executable research.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadri also reviewed the conference axes, which are summarized in 6 main axes, each of which includes several points, and they are:
The first axis is about music education, which includes strategic planning for music education and its future vision in light of hybrid education, strategic planning and its vision in the field of music education with the requirements of the labor market, research studies in music education and its use to serve people of determination, and the new aspirations in curricula and teaching methods and linking them to the environment and the labor market.
The second axis is about art education, which included the strategic planning of art education specialties and its future vision in light of hybrid education, how to employ the fields of art education and the development of creativity to serve people of determination and employ them to the requirements of the labor market, and what are the implications of the Corona pandemic on the various fields of art education.
He also talked about the fourth axis, which is educational media, which contained educational media strategies in light of the shift towards digital media, and how to strategically plan to teach educational media in light of local and international variables, explaining the strategic vision to address educational media of issues of people of determination and modern trends to employ theater with groups of people of determination.
As for the home economics axis, he emphasized the strategic planning for home economics specialties and its future vision in light of hybrid education and knowledge of home management in light of the "financial and educational" challenges and employing modern technology programs in the fields of nutrition, food science, clothing and textile, as well as activating modern programs and technologies in the fields of nutrition and food science. Finally, Prof. Mustafa stressed the topic of educational and psychological sciences and its strategic planning for educational and psychological sciences and its future vision in light of hybrid education and the activated strategy for extension programs for workers with special needs (people of determination) and their families, while developing a strategy in line with the requirements of the labor market in the fields of education.
