The Vice President of Ain Shams University inspects the process of the examinations at the Faculty of Girls, amid strict precautionary measures

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the examination committees at the Faculty of Girls in order to determine the progress of the first semester exams and to apply all necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

His Excellency was accompanied during the tour by Prof. Dr. Ruqaka Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mai Abdel-Gawad, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Service.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, praised the faculty’s keenness to implement all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Covid0-19 virus, to apply social distancing within the committees, and to commit to wearing masks, and the procedures that the faculty has already implemented for the convenience of students while taking exams.

For her part, Prof. Ruqayya Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty, on the Faculty’s keenness to achieve maximum protection levels, whether for students or observers, through the presence of a well-ventilated tent equipped to receive any condition that shows any symptoms during the exam, as well as organizing the entry and exit of students from the tracks designated for this in each building, as well as measuring students' temperatures and sterilizing The committees after each exam period, in addition to the Crisis Committee passing through the committees to follow up the health status of students, in light of the strong presence of faculty members to help students face any problem in understanding the question paper.

Prof. Dr. Mai Abdel-Gawad, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the number of female students who perform the exams for the first semester at the Faculty of Girls in three periods includes: the first class 6350 female students, the second division 6382 female students, the third division 6452 female students, the fourth year 7171 female students with a total of 26,355 female students. There are 147 committees that perform observation work, and 294 observers are distributed among the committees according to the exam schedule.

Prof. Mai Abdel-Gawad praised the hybrid education system, which contributed to reducing the attendance of female students by 50% and the electronic correction that is done in a speedy, accurate and minimal risk.
