Ain Shams University ranks second in internationally published research in 2020

Ain Shams University was ranked second in terms of the number of internationally published research papers by Egyptian researchers in 2020 according to the SCOPUS international database with 2,987 international papers, and it came in the ranking after Cairo University, which ranked first with 5,602 international papers, and third place the National Research Center with a number of 2811 international searches.

It is worth noting that 32,000 papers were published in international journals by Egyptian researchers in 2020, according to the international database SCOPUS, with a growth rate of 25% compared to 2019, as the number of international papers published in 2019 for Egyptians reached 25,725.

The citation impact factor, which measures the quality of research, is 1.32 higher than the global average, where it is (the global average is 1), according to what was published by the Egyptian Observatory for Science, Technology and Innovation at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
