Honoring 117 faculty members who have received an international publishing award at Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, honored 117 faculty members from the Faculty of Science, in the ceremony organized by the Graduate Studies and Research Sector to honor those who received the International Publication Award, batch (25), which amounted to 331 researchers, with 252 research papers worth one million and 740 thousand Pounds, of which 94 are papers from the Faculty of Science.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Salih, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Rewarding International Publishing, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raja, Dean of the College of Science, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Diya, Dean of the College of Dentistry.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of the University affirmed that in order to preserve the periodic meeting twice a year in June and December with faculty members and the assisting body who received an international publication reward, this ceremony was carried out under strict precautionary measures, in order to honor them and urge them to do more. It will benefit the scientific research interest of the university and contribute to raising its global ranking, as it will also be reflected in the international ranking of Egyptian universities.

He added that the administration of Ain Shams University is working to overcome any obstacles facing researchers, and the university is witnessing wide and rapid steps for development and renewal, calling on researchers from the Faculty of Science to cooperate with researchers in the university's various faculties (medicine, pharmacy, computers and information, etc.) in order to exchange ideas and converge with them, which will enrich the research. Scientific, pointing to the need to work to make mathematics, chemistry and other departments of the College of Science, which represent the future of scientific research, attractive disciplines for outstanding students.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh expressed his pride and happiness at this celebration and meeting with the scientific institutions of Ain Shams University, stressing that the Faculty of Science and its scientists represent nearly one-third of the recipients of the international publishing bonus in this batch, referring to the university administration's continuous support to increase the number of research published internationally And provide all the facilities, which will be reflected in the university's international classification.

It is worth noting that the rest of the recipients of the international publishing award will be honored on January 18 and 20, as 106 faculty members from the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy will be honored on Monday. The activities of the last day will witness the honoring of 108 faculty members from the Faculties of (Girls - Education - Computers and Information - Agriculture - Engineering - Arts - Alsun - Specific Education - Childhood - and the Environment Institute).

The door to applying for the international publishing bonus is opened at Ain Shams University from 1 to 31 January, as well as from 1 to 31 July of each year, in the belief of the university in the importance of international publishing in raising the level of universities scientifically and internationally, and its role in influencing the ranking Universities worldwide.
