The Vice President of the University reassures that Telecom Egypt lines will be delivered to deserving students

Within the framework of the initiative launched by Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, supervising Prof. Dr. Muhammed Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Sector Affairs, which aims to provide free internet lines and packages, in cooperation with the Egyptian Telecom Company, for students covered by the umbrella of social solidarity, the most needy of 7200 students. Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, went in an inspection tour of the Telecom Egypt outlets that are spread across the various campuses to ensure that the lines are delivered to the beneficiaries according to the data provided by the university to the company in complete confidentiality.

During his tour, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud confirmed that Ain Shams University spares no effort in implementing everything that would facilitate the educational process for our students, especially in the circumstances of the global pandemic, pointing out that the right to education is not prevented by any circumstances or difficulties, but rather we are always working to overcome them to ensure that students achieve the destiny The necessary learning is through all the electronic educational platforms launched by the university and the University Education Development Department, which was a pioneer in this regard.

He also valued the efforts of Telecom Egypt, praising the fruitful cooperation between the two sides in providing a "Ain Shams University Student Line", and affirmed that Telecom Egypt had chosen the university's participation in supporting this initiative according to an in-depth study of the Egyptian market in order to reach the best offers that first serve the interest of the student.

He added that the university was also keen to provide "Ain Shams University student line" at low prices for all able students, who number more than 200 thousand students, in cooperation with Vodafone, Orange and Egyptian Telecom companies, which guarantees maximum benefit for all Ain Shams University children, especially With the transformation of distance education completely until further notice and in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities.

It is noteworthy that the delivery of lines for students is carried out according to all measures and precautionary measures taken, as students attend to receive lines and leave immediately, and students from university cities have been handed their lines before the evacuation process is carried out and their departure until the end of the mid-year vacation.
