In the framework of the President's initiative and the 100 million health campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Population to eliminate the C virus and to detect non-communicable diseases. Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, continues to take samples for the analysis of virus C at the headquarters of the community and environment sector in the administrative building as of Saturday, 1 December.
Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out that the detection and withdrawal of samples are free of charge through specialized doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and the liver virus unit in the faculty and in cooperation with the community service sector and environmental development. He said that it has been examined 50 thousand students and new students since the beginning of the academic year last September.
He added that the cases proved to be infected with the disease will be treated free of charge. The Secretary General of the University, Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser, said that the virus detection was examined on all members of the administrative body of the university and in different faculties according to the timetables in advance.
He also appealed to all members of the university community to be quick and confident to maintain sustainable development plans in Egypt.
