Ain Shams University participates in the 21st International Conference of the Division of Cardiomyopathy

Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, at the 21st International Conference of the Division of Myocardial Prolapse - a division of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, which was held in cooperation with the Division of Cardiac Prolapse of the European Heart Association and the Heart Prolapse Foundation of North America. The conference included several sessions, one of which was chaired by Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the session included experts from Tunisia, Jordan, the Emirates, Kuwait and Lebanon.

During the conference chaired by Prof. Dr. Magdy Abdel Hamid, head of the division, the methods of treating advanced heart failure and the requirements for heart transplantation were discussed.

The conference also witnessed the participation of a group of cardiology doctors and professors in Egypt and the Arab world, including Prof. Dr. Mai Hamdy El-Sayed, Professor of Cardiology and former Head of the Cardiology Department, and Prof. Dr. Nabil Farag, Professor of Cardiology and the current head of the Cardiology Department, in addition to experts from the United States of America, Poland, Kosovo, Greece, Oman, England, Romania, Serbia and Germany.
