Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, the first workshop of the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University on the problems of teaching the Chinese language in the Arab world through the electronic platform was launched with the participation of 53 Chinese language teachers from three Arab countries (Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia), chosen from among 114 teachers They have already registered to attend these workshops, said Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, Director of the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University and the General Supervisor of the workshop.
The workshop will last for a month from August 29 to September 19, and it is held four times, with three training hours per week, by experts specialized in the field of e-learning technology. The electronic platforms are from the People's Republic of China, and the lectures are followed by an open dialogue between the lecturer and the trainees.
It is noteworthy that the workshops are the result of the recommendations approved by the "Prospects for Teaching the Chinese Language in the Arab Region After the Coronavirus Epidemic", which was organized by the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University in early August.
