The decisions of the president of Ain Shams University regarding the regularity of work at the university

Within the framework of the university's procedures towards gradually reducing the precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of the new corona virus, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decision granting workers who have been found infected with the new corona virus a leave with a minimum of 14 days from the date of notification of the infection until their recovery is complete, and that According to the health status of each injured person, with the presentation of documents proving that, and an employee with chronic diseases is granted exceptional leave in accordance with what is decided by the committee formed under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tayyib Nasir, the general supervisor of the treatment of workers and members of the teaching staff. It is also permissible, in cases of extreme necessity, to grant exceptional leave to the employee who is caring for a child under the age of twelve, taking into consideration the favor of the work.

In contrast to the cases mentioned by the Vice-Presidents of the University, each in a sector, and the deans of colleges, institutes and heads of sectors, each report appropriate to granting exceptional leave to the employee who has contact with the emerging Coronavirus for considerations related to maintaining the health and safety of his co-workers.

His Excellency also decided to return the work case regularly with full force, and the Vice-Presidents of the University, both in his sector, and deans of colleges, institutes and heads of sectors, must ensure that all procedures that ensure the safety of workers in terms of wearing masks are provided, providing sanitation and sterilization requirements.
