The President and Vice President of the University open an exhibition of plastic arts within the official opera season

Prof. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs opened an exhibition of plastic arts at the permanent exhibition at the General Administration of Youth Welfare at the university entitled "Art and Life" for senior plastic artists in Egypt in cooperation with the Opera House and within its official season for the first time in Egyptian universities in the presence and supervision of a. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Heba Murad, Director of the Department of Exhibitions and Museums at the Egyptian Opera House and curator of the exhibition, in the presence of Dr. Sally Shalaby, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education and the artist Abeer Farid Shawky and Mr. Mohamed El-Sharkawy, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and a group of plastic artists and officials of artistic activity at the university. This exhibition comes within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between Ain Shams University and the Egyptian Opera House

During the opening, Dr. El-Metini said that this exhibition is the first of its kind in the university for specialized artists, as it includes more than 85 paintings with the participation of nearly one hundred professional artists, stressing that it will not be the last where the university administration intends to organize and host a number of exhibitions in the coming period.

As Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud said that this exhibition comes within the plan of the education and students sector to develop and raise the cultural and artistic level of students to increase their awareness and sensing beauty with awareness of the importance of beauty and art in fine-tuning the behavior of young people, especially that Ain Shams University was and still is the house of experience in which senior Egyptian artists graduated

He stressed his support for all the talents of students in all fields and training them properly to participate in all local and international forums,

He referred to the idea of ​​the exhibition in hosting paintings by professional artists that contribute to raising artistic taste and developing students' talents, within the framework of the agreement concluded with the Egyptian and unprecedented opera house for Egyptian universities and the exhibition continues throughout the week to receive students and the exhibition concludes its activities with a symposium bearing the same title "art and life" and that Thursday, February 27th, in the full unity of the afternoon at which the artist / writer Hussein Noah and Mr. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, a consultant psychiatrist, will participate. The seminar will be led by Mrs. Ola Shusha and a group of the most prominent plastic artists, including: The Syndicate of Fine Artists Dr. Safia Al-Qabbani
