Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini is the guest of the symposium on education and the advancement of the country at the Hanager Cultural Forum

Under the patronage of Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, the Cultural Production Affairs Sector, headed by director Khaled Galal, held its monthly meeting of the Al-Hanager Cultural Forum, under the title "Education and Advancement of the Homeland" under the supervision of the artist Mohamed Desouky, Director of the Center. The forum hosted Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Magdy Sabaa, President of Tanta University, Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, Dr. Tarek Rahmy, President of Suez Canal University, Dr. Taya Abdel-Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, and Dr. Saad Zant, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies and Ethics of Communication, moderated the meeting Critic Dr. Nahed Abdel Hamid, Director and founder of the Forum.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, pointed out that the organization of the education system has been an issue for years, but it was not completed until President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, came up. It did not take effect, but now the situation is different. There is a real political will to change university and non-university education. This is reflected in the articles of the constitution.

He added that private universities are safety valves for university education in Egypt, free education is a right for those who deserve, but he needs to reorganize in order to reach science for those who can benefit from it, pointing out that until 1980, after graduating university students can work abroad without needing an equation, and if we want to retrieve this again, we need to re-enter the labels again to put on the global map.

He also talked about on some of the foundations of the control and classification of universities, such as obtaining the Nobel Prize and scientific research, pointing out that private universities are the future because they are not-for-profit universities.

The program included a distinctive participation of a variety of songs from the great singer "Mahmoud Darwish" accompanied by Kunooz music band.
