The "White Coat" program hosts the director of the Heart Diseases and Surgery Hospital at Ain Shams University
The “White Coat” program, which is shown on the Egyptian channel, hosted Prof. Mohamed Al-Ghannam, Director of the Heart Diseases and Surgery Hospital at Ain Shams University.
During his speech, Al-Ghannam referred to the role of the hospital in implementing the presidential initiatives related to the field of health, explaining that since 2019, the hospital has been able to perform more than 5,000 catheterizations, between therapeutic and diagnostic, and nearly 3,000 open-heart surgeries.
He added that the hospital is an essential partner in the health system, as the hospital had a key role in treating and diagnosing very difficult cases from all over the Republic.
He noted that Ain Shams University has adopted the lung transplantation project in Egypt, and this is one of the aspects in which the university is a pioneer.
