Inaugurating the building of the laboratories at the Faculty of Science

This morning Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, opened the new Faculty of Science laboratories building, accompanied by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Yasser Mujahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the Faculty of Engineering.

It is worth noting that the entire concrete foundation of the building is a gift from the Sawiris Foundation for Community Development.

The building consists of four floors that include two chemistry laboratories, two computer labs, classrooms for students, a lounge for faculty staff, a control room, and electronic control, in addition to providing the building with the latest surveillance systems with cameras and early warning against fire, as well as state-of-the-art firefighting systems, lighting systems, air conditioning, and environmentally friendly water systems.
