The President of Ain Shams University inaugurates the landscape project at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the landscape project on the campus of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, accompanied by Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Hesham Tamraz, former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Engineering Consulting Center at the University, and Prof. Dr.. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Yasser Mujahid, Director of the Center for Engineering Consultations, and Prof. Nasr Eid, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and gentlemen, professors at the Faculty of Engineering and consultants at the Engineering Consulting Center, and Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Director of the Engineering Department at the university, its administrators, and a group of faculty staff from the Faculty of Al-Alsun, program directors, the teaching assistant, and students.

         
   
         
         
   
         

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, confirmed that the Faculty of Al-Alsun historically preceded the establishment of the university, and includes 15 departments covering all languages on the planet, pointing out that the Presidency Institution sent thanks to the university administration for the simultaneous translations provided by the lecturers of Al-Alsun, stressing that all state institutions adopt the services of Al-Alsun in its translations into the languages of the world.

He pointed out that the university administration, during a short period of time, witnessed accelerating events around the world and the spread of the new Corona epidemic and its variants, to keep pace with modern digital changes, thanks to its infrastructure; Where the university has carried out intensive development of digital transformation sites at various levels of infrastructure, development of advanced programs and activation of all aspects of communication with major international universities through partnerships and advanced educational programs, as well as international competitions in which universities of the world participate and achieving first positions in various official competitions and reach the merit of 5 stars out of 5 in the global QS ranking.

         
   
         

He also praised the efforts of the students of Ain Shams University for their various disciplines in the completion of a large number of projects that contribute to raising the university's capabilities in general and placing it in the ranks of major international universities.

A confirmed. Dr.. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr.. Mahmoud Al-Matini, and the deputies, supported the faculty development projects at various levels to provide educational service at the highest level, and to provide an outlet for student activities during it.

The faculty witnessed a quantum leap with the repercussions of the global Corona epidemic, Covid-19. The entire university administration was on the ground supporting the preparation and implementation of faculty projects. The number of three electronic halls equipped with the latest international digital technologies, and in a record time of only 22 days, the transformation of the place into a large scientific beacon capable of serving the educational process and preparing a new generation of faculty students capable of breaking into the labor market and proving their abilities in it, was completed, as well as providing Human cadres capable of dealing with different languages of the world to serve the Egyptian government in communicating with different peoples of the world.

         
   
         

The projects kept going; Where 19 new educational halls were opened to support the new programs in the faculty and develop the educational halls, and they were provided with all technological devices, in addition to managing student affairs related to the programs.

The Faculty has developed 4 programs for credit hours to meet the requirements of the labor market.

The infrastructure also witnessed the development of the water network, the provision of 3 new electric generators, and the insulation of roofs of buildings from rainwater.

In conclusion, Prof. Salwa Rashad, presented memorial shields to the attendees who contributed to the completion of faculty projects and support for the development of the educational process and its requirements.
