Symposium and workshop "Plant Greens…Reap its fruits" at the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, with Prof. Ahmed Al-Shawky, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development Sector, is honored to invite you to attend an awareness seminar and workshop on home farming and recycling of household tools in agriculture, entitled: “Plant Greens and reap their fruits” next Monday 11/21/2022 at 12:00, the symposium will be held in cooperation with the team of Mrs. Asmaa Al-Ashry, the owner of the initiative (plant with your own hands).

The seminar is held under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Issa, supervisor of environment and community service projects, and Dr. Rasha the inspector, director of the department, in the context of seeking to spread environmental awareness among members of society, keeping pace with and supporting the efforts of the Egyptian state for the activities of the COP27 climate conference, and in support of the presidential initiative "Get Green" to confront climate changes. The workshop aims to provide basic information about home cultivation (tools - seeds - cultivation steps – Plant care), while highlighting the positive impact that the individual gains from the availability of plants indoors and their vital role in absorbing carbon and reducing its emissions, which has a significant impact in confronting climate change.
