The final activities of the " the Faculty of Sciences Innovate" competition were held at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, where Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi inaugurated the activities of presenting student projects, in the presence of Prof. Eman Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Montaser, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, under the supervision of Dr. Islam Adly, coordinator of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty.
In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Rajaa Al-Satohi stressed the importance of this event, which is considered one of the most important events witnessed by the College of Science, pointing out that this event was like a dream for him, praising the participation of the Student Union and the Scientific Committee.
He also announced that financial rewards and prizes will be given to encourage their distinguished efforts.
He praised the distinguished role of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the faculty under the leadership of Dr. Islam Adly, Director of the Unit and Lecturer in the Department of Entomology.
His Excellency added: It is not biased towards the Faculty of Science, but the innovator must be a graduate of the Faculty of Science to present research for the development and renaissance of Egypt and provide ideas to push the development locomotive forward.
As Prof. Amani Suleiman expressed her happiness with young people who have an enlightened mind and have innovative ideas that are unparalleled, wishing honorable representation for Ain Shams University.
And Prof. Iman Al-Nahhas gave the title (The Faculty of Scientists) for the Faculty of Science because of its innovators and researchers who present research projects that help to participate in preserving a clean environment.
The arbitration committee included the membership of each of the faculty 's evacuation professors, Prof. Abdel-Rahman Abdel-Ghaffar, Professor of Biochemistry, at the Faculty of Science, Prof. Asst. Dr. Muhammad Jamal Al-Din Nasser, Assistant Professor of Medical Entomology at the Faculty, Prof. Wael Samir Mahmoud, professor of microbial biotechnology at the Faculty, Dr. Diaa Ibrahim Nasr, assistant professor of computer science at the Faculty, Dr. Nemat Hassan, a teacher of algae at the Faculty
The result of the competition was announced as the winner of the teams that presented distinguished research projects, an interesting way of presenting information, communication skills and organized scientific thinking.
