The Mufti of the Republic is an arbitrator for a doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Shawky Allam, Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, presided over the arbitration committee to discuss a thesis entitled “Religious Discourse in Arab Satellite Channels and its Relationship to Spreading Religious Tolerance and Acceptance of the Other among Egyptian University Students”

         
   
         

And the membership of the arbitration committee for each of the honorable Messrs. Prof. Zakaria Ibrahim El-Desouki, Head of the Department of Media and Children’s Culture at the Graduate School of Childhood, Prof. Mohamed Moawad Ibrahim, Professor of Media, Department of Media and Children’s Culture, Prof. Asst. Dr. Amr Abdullah Nahla, Assistant Professor of Media, Department of Media and Culture Children's Graduate School of Children.

         
   
         

The discussion was witnessed by Sheikh Prof. Osama Al-Azhari, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Religious Affairs, and Ambassador Muhammad Al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs.

         
   
         

This is under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Howaida El-Gabali, Dean of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies.

         
   
         

The thesis is titled "Religious Discourse in Arab Satellite Channels and its Relationship to Spreading Religious Tolerance and Acceptance of the Other among Egyptian University Students" by researcher Walid Mahmoud Al-Husseini, Department of Information and Children's Culture, at Graduate School of Childhood Studies.

The audience and the arbitration committee praised the topic of the thesis and the researcher's handling of it, as it affects the needs of reality for it.

The discussion witnessed the presence of a group of faculty professors, including Dr. Shahat Azazi, and Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed, deputy editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram and colleagues, Prof. Shehata AAl-Orabi Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Haq and Prof. Mohamed Lotfy, and Prof. Hossam Mahdy, Secretary of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies
