Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz receives the Bronze Award at the Seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation

Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, won the Bronze Award at the Seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation for a small electric car project that was converted into a self-driving car using artificial intelligence and advanced sensors, under the supervision of Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and a team of faculty staff, teaching assistants, and students from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University.

Ain Shams University and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university participated in the seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation, which was held under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Academy of Scientific Research.

The university's participation came under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
