The regularity of study at Ain Shams University during the second semester

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the university received nearly 220,000 male and female undergraduate and graduate students in the second semester.

The university had completed a set of preparations, as the faculties announced the study schedules for the second semester and notified the students about them through the faculties ' official website and their pages on social networking sites for the different academic levels, and completed all preparations for the start of the study in the second semester.

The Department of Education Development has also finished uploading the course content of the electronic university book for the second semester (lectures, virtual lab experiments, virtual microscope slides), as well as students' registration for the courses of the second semester on the university's ASU2LEARN platform, and completing the inclusion of questions on the question banks of the faculties, as well as completing the training plan for faculty staff on the question banks and e-learning platforms.

In particular, directing attention to applying preventive precautionary measures, and preparing sufficient quantities of the necessary sterilization materials; to purify all halls, auditoriums, roads, offices and entrances, in order to ensure the safety of all members of the academic community, and also to complete, during the mid-year vacation, maintenance work for buildings, reviewing the construction efficiency of university facilities and university cities, auditoriums, laboratories, and following up on cleaning work; to ensure the smooth conduct of the educational process successfully from its first day.

In addition to the preparations of the education and student affairs sector through its general departments with regard to the readiness of the General Administration of university cities and nutrition to resume their efforts to receive expatriate university students throughout the day, as 1,664 male and female students were received until the evening of Saturday, February 11, equivalent to 50% of the total absorption capacity and full readiness to receive the rest of our students as soon as they start studying according to their academic schedules and to resume providing medical services through the medical administration, the medical supply department and pharmacies to provide all medical services and medicines necessary for sick cases, in order to ensure the quality of service provided to our students.
