In cooperation with the electronic portal, the Awards Office organizes its 28th meeting with faculty staff who have received prestigious awards

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of the university's leadership in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and to benefit from the practical experience of the prestigious award recipients, the University Awards Office, in cooperation with the electronic portal, continued its meetings and held its twenty-eighth meeting, In the presence of a group of faculty staff who have won prestigious local, regional and international awards, which was held at the Networking and Information Technology Center at the university on February 7, 2023.

Where the twenty-eighth meeting, which was held under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Director of the Electronic Portal, Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the Awards Office at the university, hosted a group of faculty staff who are:

Prof. Muhammad Abdel Muttalib Mustafa, Professor of Literary Criticism and Rhetoric at the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, recipient of the Faisal International Award 2016, the State Appreciation Award 2018, the Ain Shams Appreciation Award in 2006, and many awards and honors.

Prof. Ali Zaki Al-Fayoumi, Professor of Polymer Chemistry, Former Vice President of Menoufia University, Advisor to the Former Minister of Petroleum, Advisor to the Former Minister of Education, Recipient of many awards for excellence, and was selected among the 500 global leaders in the ABI Encyclopedia in 1999.

Both of their Excellencies referred to the full scientific journey and the efforts exerted in the scientific school, scientific research literature, local, regional and international conferences and others during a long scientific career full of giving and awards that they obtained from local, regional and international bodies.

Both of their eminences gave thanks and appreciation to the scientists who contributed to the scientific establishment of each of them and made them among the pioneers of the university. They also emphasized the main and effective role of Ain Shams University in supporting scientific research and researchers, represented in supporting scientific conferences and facilitating scientific missions and others.

Both of them concluded their speech with a message addressed to young researchers from the university, in which they emphasized the continuity of support for all researchers and the necessity of adhering to the spirit of scientific competition, leadership, excellence, and the quality of scientific research with applied returns and benefiting from the experiences of professors and pioneers in the various fields of specialization at the university.

At the end of the meeting, a recommendation was made on the pioneering role of Ain Shams University scholars and the need for continued communication between generations to achieve the university's mission and goals of excellence in the fields of scientific research and global competition by obtaining prestigious awards for pioneering work in various fields, which in turn contribute to achieving a distinguished position in the international ranking of the university among world universities.
