The Faculty of Nursing receives delegations of Children's University

Today, Monday, the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty, received the delegations of the Children's University, who were about 80 children between the ages of 9 to 12 years, within the framework of the activities of the Children's University hosted by Ain Shams University during the period from 28- 1-2023 to 11-2-2023, under the supervision of Dr. Noha Al-Rafei, Deputy Director of Grants and Projects Department and Coordinator of the Children's University at Ain Shams University.

The day witnessed a group of activities under the supervision of Prof. Hayam Refaat Tantawi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, where children were given lectures and training in technical nursing laboratories on the principles of first aid for wounds, bleeding, burns and fractures. The lectures and training were delivered by Prof. Hala Mohamed Mohamed and Assistant Professor Dr. Ferial Fouad, faculty staff of the Department of Community Health at the faculty.

The day also included various activities that increased the indicators of children's university students' satisfaction and their benefit from the faculty's various activities, in order to ensure the safety of the children and follow up on the implementation of the program, and to facilitate any difficulties facing the faculty coordinators, the Grants and Projects Management Team received the children in the Helal auditorium in the Faculty of Science and took them to and from the Faculty of Nursing and stayed with them throughout the day's activities.
