New Year's celebration for children with special needs and their families at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood

The Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University organized a New Year's celebration, a day of fun entitled "Happy new year", and honoring the mothers of children with special needs and the fun team of children.

This is under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for People with Special Needs at the Graduate School of Childhood Studies.

The celebration included presenting several artistic activities with children, with the art therapy unit, coloring the snowman, paper activities to form the snowman, and a children's choir.

During the events, Prof. Dr. Howaida Al-Jabali stated that the celebration aims to bring joy to mothers of children with Special Needs and enhance their awareness of entering a new year in the presence of specialists, the music team, the Enrichment Activities Unit from the center, a group of faculty staff, specialists, musicians, and singer Amira Saeed " is from people with Special Needs ". The celebration also included several activities including performing songs and playing music and drums with the participation of 100 children from the center.

This is under the supervision of Mr. Hossam Mahdi, Secretary of the Faculty and Mrs. Jihan Issa, Secretary of the Center, and under the supervision and organization of a work team from the faculty and the center, the Fun Team (the Social Activities Team), and in the coordination of Muhammad Ezzat, researcher at the Department of Media and Children's Culture, Dr. Marwa Bayoumi, Head of the Enrichment Activities Unit and the Fun Team, Mrs. Soraya Hussein, head of the public relations department at the faculty and a member of the fun team, Mr. Ihab Al-Kurdi, the office of the center director and a member of the fun team, Mrs. Shaima Abdel Moneim, Department of Public Relations and a member of the fun team, Mrs. Mona Mohamed, the office of the faculty secretary and a member of the fun team, Mr. Youssef Abdel Moneim, occupational therapist and member of the fun team, Mrs. Reem Abdel Sattar, a volunteer at the center and a member of the fun team, Mrs. Nesma Esmat, Library Department and a member of the fun team, Mrs. Ayat Hisham is a volunteer and a music teacher, Mrs. Hanem is a volunteer and a member of the fun team, Mrs. Nour, a member of the fun team and a volunteer, in the presence of the active participation of Dr. Mona Zohny, a speech specialist at the center, in the presence of Dr. Amira Omar, Head of the Self-Care Unit.

In cooperation with the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Thuraya Mahmoud, director of the office, Mrs. Marwa Khaled, Mr. Syed Sheikh, Mrs. Reham, the office of the director of the center, and with the active participation of Mr. Muhammad Ragab, Department of Tables and Study, and some faculty administrators. Ahmed Abdel Salam, head of the Security Unit and Mr. Said faculty security reformers.

At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Huwaida Al-Jabali Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki gave Certificates of Appreciation to mothers and their children from the acting team and participants in plays, choirs and artistic performances. Singer Amira Saeed was also honored for her participation in the celebration. Gifts and sweets were distributed to the children.
