The University Awards Office continues its series of awareness visits to introduce the foundations, system, and conditions of awards and to provide technical support to faculty staff at the University's Faculty of Medicine.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr.Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr.Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr.Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr.Osama Mansour, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, the Faculty of Medicine organized a workshop in cooperation with the University Awards Office under the title "The Foundations and Criteria Necessary for Competition for Awards and Conditions for Applying for Them", organized and coordinated by Dr. Maryam Asaad, the supervisor of the training office in the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, at the faculty’s headquarters in Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini Hall, in the presence of a number of faculty staff and award winners, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The workshop dealt with many of the tasks carried out by the Awards Office at the university level, introducing the university database for awards and the conditions necessary to apply for awards, in addition to how to achieve excellence and competition to obtain leadership in this field, and in an atmosphere of mutual discussion with the attendees, all questions and inquiries on the topic of the workshop were answered, and technical support was provided to some professors applying for state awards, and it was emphasized that the visits will be repeated in the coming period in order to continue the leadership of the faculty and the university in this important field in order to achieve the university’s mission of excellence and competition.
