Increasing the maximum limit for chronic medicine to 1,500 EGP per month

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to improve health care for the university's employees and to reduce the burdens imposed on them by increasing medicine prices, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, the university president, raised the maximum monthly chronic medicine limit to 1,500 pounds instead of 1,000 pounds.

Major General Ahmed Lashin, Secretary General of the University, stated that the member of the Medical Care Fund will bear only 10% of the monthly medicine cost, as of January 1, 2023.
