Ain Shams University invites to participate in the university's celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with the Arabic Language Academy and the Supreme Council for Culture; Ain Shams University is organizing a celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language, in cooperation with many local and international cultural bodies, and with the participation of a distinguished group of poets, writers and artists.

Ain Shams University invites to participate in literary production in any of the following areas: (classical poetry - colloquial poetry - song lyrics - poetry recitation - short story - article writing - scenario and dialogue - novel - playwriting, in addition to the field of caricature dedicated to mocking the phenomenon of the Franks (Use of foreign languages ​​with Arabic).

The celebration targets the participation of faculty staff, teaching assistants, the gentlemen university employees, all university students (postgraduate studies - bachelor), foreign students, children of the gentlemen of the university faculty members and the assistant staff, and gentlemen working under the age of 14, provided that their participation is limited to the field of reciting or writing poetry (classical, colloquial), and the field of writing a short story

Note that the deadline for submission is December 5, 2022.

Ain Shams University announces that the evaluation of the submitted works will be carried out independently for each category of applicants, represented in the category of faculty staff and teaching assistants, the category of university employees, the category of university students, taking into account the age difference, experiences, and specializations, and valuable financial prizes will be presented to the winners.

All submitted works will be arbitrated and reviewed by specialized arbitration committees from inside and outside the university, and distinguished works will be honored in each category during the ceremony that will be held on December 22, 2022.

Last year, Ain Shams University organized a similar celebration that included announcing the results and honoring the winners participating in the university competition in the fields of classical poetry - colloquial poetry - song lyrics - poetry recitation - short story - essay writing - script and dialogue - novel - playwriting.
