Launching the activities of the literacy convoy in the Faculty of Education

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Aladdin Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Affairs, in cooperation and under the supervision of Dr. Suhaib Tolba, Director of the Community Services and Literacy Unit at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, prof. Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Center for Adult Education at Ain Shams University. The Community Services Unit at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the National Literacy Project Support Unit, organized a development convoy for the Arab Al-Aleqat Youth Center in Al-Khanka Center, in coordination with Mr. Ashraf Badawy, Director of the Adult Education and Literacy Authority in Qalyubia, Mr. Sadiq Al-Safouri, Mr. Alaa Al-Baidawi, and in the presence of Dr. Ghada Abdel Fattah Abdel Aziz Zayed, Assistant Professor of Curricula and Teaching Methods, d. Dalia Mohamed Abdel Basset, Department of Physics, prof. Dr. Magdy Shebl, Dr. Rasha Mahmoud Badawy, Assistant Professor, Department of Curriculum and Science Teaching Methods, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Dr. Mohamed Khaled, Department of Comparative Education, prof. Dr. Mona Salah El-Din Hassanein, Head of the English Language Department, and Dr. Muhammad Jamal Zaki, a teacher in the Department of Geography, where all participated in coordinating the workshops.

         
   
         

The convoy provided many services, including immediate literacy tests, a symposium on dropping out of education and its problems, a workshop for psychological and social counseling, in addition to a workshop on managing family and social problems and how to manufacture soap and detergents for students, a workshop for students on learning English by yourself, and a workshop A work for students on time management, a workshop for adults on science and life, a workshop for teachers on first aid, and a workshop on crisis management skills between theory and practice.
