The conclusion of the activities of the 9th international conference of the Department of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University

The activities of the Ninth International Conference of the Department of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, were concluded, the conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Acting Dean of the Faculty ‎of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hussein Khaled, former Minister of Higher Education and Professor of Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Muti, Dean of the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Enas Abdel Halim, Member of the People's Assembly and Deputy Health Committee, Prof. Dr. Iman Shaarawy, Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Nevin Jado, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Dina Salem Professor of Oncology and Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yassin, Secretary General of the Conference Prof. Dr. Mai Ezz El-Din, General Coordinator of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and a selection of specialist doctors in Egypt and countries around the world (England, USA, Portugal, Spain, Germany) by direct attendance or via video conferencing.

Over the course of two days, the conference discussed the great revolution in oncology pathology in the important scientific research on the nature of the causes of the disease, its symptoms and reaching a group of important treatments such as immunotherapies through more than 20 scientific sessions that included more than 90 scientific lectures that presented another New developments in the treatment of surgical oncology, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapies in gynecological and obstetric tumors, breast cancer, chest diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, pancreas, liver, colon, rectum, kidney, bladder, prostate and neck and neck cancers, and that science is now talking about fingerprints and codes for each cancer and the possibility of Healing from these diseases

The conference included workshops for young doctors and physicists in cooperation with the European Society for Radiotherapy Oncology (ESTRO) to encourage continuing education, which leads to an increase in the efficiency of doctors to provide a distinguished medical service.

The conference also included specialized nursing sessions with the participation of the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University
