President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi witnessed the activities of the 36th educational symposium of the armed forces (October... Will of a homeland), on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories. A student delegation from the university participated in the symposium under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Negm, Director of the Military Education Department at Ain Shams University, which was organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in cooperation with Ain Shams University.

The activities of the 36th educational symposium of the armed forces (October... the will of a homeland) began with the recitation of verses from the wise Quran by the reciter Sheikh Ayman Akl.

His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also gave a great greeting and thanks to the heroes of the glorious October War, Battalion "139 Thunderbolts".

During the 36th educational symposium on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October War victories at Al-Manara Convention Center, His Excellency expressed sincere appreciation to the heroes who gave the country pride, dignity, victory and honor for free.

The Ain Shams University choir team "The Spirit of the East" also starred in the artistic paragraph that came within the activities of the 36th educational symposium to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the October victories, which excelled in reciting patriotic songs in front of the president and the attendees.

It is worth noting that the choir (Spirit of the East) has been distinguished recently due to the unlimited support provided by the education sector and students headed by Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, which had the greatest impact by crowning their appearance and giving them the honor of participating in that great national occasion in front of His Excellency the President of the Republic.

The participation of Ain Shams University students comes within the framework of the political leadership's directives to raise the level of awareness and raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among university students by participating in events and activities that tell of the history and greatness of the Egyptian state.

The seminar was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Zaki, and a number of ministers and senior statesmen.
