In its first session for the academic year 2022-2023, the Faculty of Medicine Board honors the former Dean of the Faculty

The Board of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University held its first session for the academic year 2022-2023, headed by Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Acting Dean of the College and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Heba Allah Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of the wise men, heads of departments, and a group of faculty members.

The Board honored Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, the former dean of the faculty, in appreciation of his excellency’s efforts during his tenure as dean of the college.

The heads of departments who ended their term as department chairs were also honored, and they are:

Prof. Dr. Ayman Abdel Razek Abu El Nour, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Prof. Dr. Ehab Mostafa Mohamed Ibrahim, former head of the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Suleiman Mahmoud Abdel Bari, former head of the vascular surgery department

Prof. Dr. Maha Mohamed Ahmed Al-Gaafari, former head of the Public Health Department

Prof. Dr. Amr Khairy Mahmoud, former head of the orthopedic department

The Board discussed many topics on the agenda.
