A press release on the results of accepting students who obtained the Egyptian General Secondary School for the first stage in universities and institutes

The Coordination Office began receiving the wishes of first-stage students, through the coordination website, on the Internet, during the period from Thursday, 11/8/2022 until Tuesday, 16/8/2022.

According to the minimum and numbers established for this stage, as follows:

• Academic Division: 365 degrees or more, or 89.02% or more.

Number of students: 22475

• Engineering Division: 341 degrees or more, or 83.17% or more.

Number of students: 15220

• Literary Division: 264.5 degrees or more, or 64.51% or more

Number of students: 80063

• Total number of students: 117,758

The Coordination Office completed its work on the specified dates, and the results of accepting first-year students who obtained high school diplomas were as follows:

Number of students applying to the scientific section: 37989

The number of students applying to the literary section: 79209

Total: 117,197

Thus, 560 students didn’t attend and did not submit their wished during this stage.

Institutes affiliated to the Ministry, Scientific Division: 242.

☆ The minimum for the second stage, the number of its students, and the dates for registering desires on the coordination website.

• Academic Division: 246 degrees or more, or 60%.

Number of students: 223294

• Literary Division: 238 degrees or more, or 58.05% or more

Number of students: 45,908

• Total number of students: 269202

☆ The work of this stage will start from Thursday, 08/18/2022 until Monday, 08/22/2022 for a period of 5 days.

☆ Work procedures at this stage:

At this stage, work was carried out according to the following:

• The office, upon nomination, adhered to the wishes of the students registered on the website, according to the last registration made by the students and within the limits of the rules and conditions.

• By announcing the result of this stage, the Coordination Office has completed the distribution of (117,198) students in the first stage during the announced period from the start of work.

• The student can print the final nomination card from the website after announcing the result of the phase of reducing alienation for students of the first and second stages.

• The final lists of nominations will be sent to colleges after the announcement of the results of the phase of reducing alienation for students of the first and second stages.
