The Network and Information Technology Center supervised the provision of the electronic service for the first official IELTS test organized by the British Council in Cairo, for 9 examinees who took the test at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

The Executive Director of the Network and Information Technology Center, Dr. Islam Hegazy, explained that the center worked to provide a team of engineers and specialized technicians to ensure high Internet speed and quality of service and to avoid any breakdowns or interruptions during the exam, in addition to providing technical and technological protection for the exam.

Hegazy pointed out that the technical capabilities owned by the Center for Networks and Information Technology are capable of ensuring good internet speed in all university faculties located inside or outside the main campus.
