The opening of the conference of the development of education and technical education in light of the needs and requirements of the labor market

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid stressed the efforts of the University of Ain Shams represented today in the efforts of the Center for the Development of University Education at the Faculty of Education and within the framework of the Egyptian State's efforts to achieve the vision of Egypt 2030. In the forefront of this is the provision of education and training for all in high quality without discrimination, and within an institutional, efficient, equitable, sustainable and flexible framework. University education must be based on the learner and trainee who is able to think and be able technically, technically and technologically. It should also contribute to building an integrated personality and maximizing its potential to a self-respecting, enlightened, creative, responsible, pluralistic, respectful, and proud citizen of his country's history, eager to build its future and able to compete with regional and global entities. Stressed the importance of developing technical education for its great role in advancing development.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Megahid talked about the efforts of the State in supporting and developing technical education, where it developed teaching techniques to cope with the latest technological developments and launched many competitions inside and outside Egypt to be able to compete in the labor market and keep pace with developments.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab El Ghandour pointed out some of the challenges facing the development of technical education in Egypt, especially technical education, pointing to the efforts of the Fund for the development of technical education in presenting successful models through successful international partnerships to benefit from German, English and Italian experiences, which depends on the graduation of a student with the skills required by the labor market.

Mrs. Shorouk Zaidan stressed the importance of changing the negative mental image of technical education among students and the whole society because the major industrial countries such as China, Germany and others have relied mainly on small industry but with good technology and developed and this is the product of advanced technical education.

Prof. Dr. Zeinab Mohammed reviewed the six sessions of the conference and workshops, which will last for two days and discussed several topics with the participation and presence of researchers from the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and various Egyptian universities.
