The launch of the 4th scientific forum of the Department of Educational Technology at the Faculty of Specific Education

The Department of Educational Technology at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, organized the fourth scientific forum of the department entitled “Smart educational institutions in the light of Egypt’s vision 2030”, in the Hall of the Network and Information Technology Center on the university campus, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr.. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the College and President of the Forum, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadri, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Vice President of the Forum, and Prof. Dr. Safaa Sayed Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Education Technology at the College and Rapporteur of the Forum, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, Head of the Music Education Department at the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Noha Abdel Aziz, head of the Art Education Department at the faculty, and a group of professors specializing in educational technology.

         
   
         

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh pointed to the role played by the faculty and its participation in all the activities carried out by the university.

Also Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed thanked and appreciated the university administration for the capabilities it provides to the college, and his honor indicated the need to pay attention to and expand e-learning, as the College of Specific Education came at the forefront of colleges to implement the distance education platform during the Corona pandemic.

During her speech, Prof. Dr. Safaa Sayed expressed her thanks to the university’s administration for providing all means to hold the forum, explaining that its goal is to define the features of educational institutions and their role in light of Egypt’s vision 2030.

     
 
     

Moreover, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadri stressed the importance of these forums in implementing the university’s plan and the development of e-learning systems and directing considerations towards education and training as a national security issue, and developing realistic and creative solutions to these problems.

On the sidelines of the forum, the official sponsor of the forum was honored, and shields were presented to the professors participating in the forum, the vice deans and the university president
