The French ambassador in Cairo signs a cooperation protocol between the French Institute and Ain Shams University

Today, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, received His Excellency Ambassador Marc Baretti, the Ambassador of France in Cairo, to discuss ways of cooperation between France and Ain Shams University in the fields of education and scientific research.

The ambassador signed a cooperation protocol between the university and the French Institute in Cairo, representing Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Mina Adel Zaher, teacher of law at Faculty of Law and from the French Institute in Egypt, Mrs. Nadine Dolater, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sherweit Al-Ahmadi, Director of Expatriate Administration At the university, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim El-Shafei, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yassin El-Shazly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamdi, Director of the French Division at the Faculty and the former Dean, Dr. Mina Adel, Protocol Coordinator, Instructor of Private International Law, and a constellation of heads Departments in faculties of the French Language Department.

The two parties agreed to train at the French Institute in Egypt, FIE, so that the institute is committed to accepting faculty members and members of the supporting staff at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, who are keen to receive training courses in the French language provided by the institute.

The institute is also committed to organizing courses remotely or at the institute’s headquarters for faculty members and the legal staff in the legal field of Ain Shams in the French language FOS. The institute is also committed to accepting students of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University who are keen to receive training courses in the French language provided by the French Institute in Egypt.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini expressed his happiness in cooperating with the French Institute and that this will burden the faculty members, the assistant staff and the students with the French language departments. The French ambassador also expressed his happiness at being at the prestigious Ain Shams University and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the university in various fields related to education and scientific research.
