Discussing "The Future of Road Safety" at the Faculty of Engineering

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Transportation Engineering Research Center at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University organized the “Future of Road Safety” event on March 12, 2022, which was held in the Seminar Hall in the Central Library building of the faculty, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Omar El-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Prof. Dr. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Sayed, Professor of Transportation at the University of British Columbia and Chair of Research in Canada, Dr. Karim Ismail, assistant professor at Carleton University in Canada participated in the event. This comes within the framework of the efforts of the faculty and the center to support the efforts of the Egyptian state to develop roads and reduce accidents on them.

It is worth mentioning that the main researcher of the project is Dr. Ahmed Osama Fikri, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Araby - Head of the Public Works Department at the College.
