The Day of Loyalty for the Commemoration of the Departed Professors at the End of the International Cultural Week at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

The Cultural Relations Committee of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, organized a meeting entitled "The Day of Loyalty", at the conclusion of its cultural week, which was entitled "Cairo in Literature and Art", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Youmna Azmy, Assistant Professor in the Spanish Department and Rapporteur of the Cultural Relations Committee at the faculty.

Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, the former president of Ain Shams University, stressed that this university tradition called the Day of Loyalty to the honorable professor who passed away the previous two years, is one of the traditions of one of the most prestigious colleges in the world since it was founded by the venerable scholar Rafaa Al-Tahtawi, and after it became a facultty at the prestigious Ain Shams University. Al-Alsun will continue to shine with its sons, graduates and all its faculty staff throughout the ages, and the faculty is still graduating generations; Her sons contributed to the opening of the Faculty of Al-Alsun in all parts of Egypt.

He continued today we celebrate the scientific career of the late professors and the traces they left that will remain engraved in the memory of their students and their scientific legacy, which will remain alive and on which new studies will be built to serve the Egyptian, Arab and global community.

During her speech, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, expressed her sincere condolences to the families of the departed professors of the college during the last two years, and stressed that giving is the secret of immortality. But their deeds will remain a beacon for future generations.

During the day, which was administered by Prof. Dr. Maged Al-Saidi, Professor in the Department of Arabic Language, the faculty staff of the scientific departments lamented the departed from the Faculty of Al-Alsun, as they will remain stars that will light the sky of Ain Shams University, with what they left of a scientific legacy that contributes to the service of science throughout the ages.
