The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, Rotary Heliopolis Sport, and Family for Central Egypt, organized a visit to the new Children’s Hospital to treat children suffering from blood diseases and tumors from various governorates of Egypt and also from some Arab and African countries, and dialysis, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the coordination and attendance of Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs In the presence of Prof. Dr. Yasmine Gamal, director of the new Children's Hospital, Prof. Dr. Fatima Obeid, Professor of Pediatrics, and a group of sector employees, under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Sector.
Eng. Heba Al-Marsafawi, President of Rotary Heliopolis, and a group of Rotary participated in the visit, who presented three PlayStation and toys as gifts for children.
Dr. Gehan Ragab stated that this visit contributed to raising the morale of the children who frequent the hospital and alleviating their suffering. The hospital was inspected and advanced medical services were introduced. The attendees praised the high-quality medical care for pediatric patients, and provided them with full support until the stage of recovery, The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the university provided some gifts and games for children, and gifts for mothers. The sector calls on all segments of society to support the Children’s Hospital in Demerdash for continuing to provide its free services. At the end of the visit, the attendees wished a complete recovery for the patients, and souvenir photos were taken.
