With the participation of 31 universities... Egyptian-made electric cars are preparing for the rally EVER 2019

The Faculty of Engineering announced the conclusion of the EVER Egypt 2019 training activities in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University ans Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and a selection of the work team of the Egyptian Academy and various universities.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, pointed out that EVER Egypt is a competition that gives young Egyptian engineers the opportunity to challenge their artistic and creative skills in the design, construction and development of the concept of the electric vehicle.

The main task of this competition is to maximize the benefits of the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering in multiple disciplines with the knowledge, practical skills and experience necessary in the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of electric vehicles.

This step is also aimed at creating the necessary human resources for the operation of the electric car industry in Egypt. This is in line with the implementation of the vision and guidance of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to keep abreast of technological progress and will be the beginning of a major positive impact on the strategy of sustainable development.

In the current season (EVER Egypt 2019), the number of participating teams is 31 teams from 31 Egyptian universities, namely, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, with the branches of Heliopolis and Smart Village, the Egyptian Academy of Engineering, the German University in Cairo (GUC), the American University (AUC), British University in Egypt (BUE), Egyptian Russian University (ERU) and Military Technical College, Higher Technological Institute at 10^th of Ramadan, Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology, Arish, 6th October University, Assiut University, Al-Azhar University, Alexandria University, Zagazig University, Fayoum University, Cairo University, Mansoura University, Menoufia University, Nile University, Banha University, Shoubra University, South Valley University, Helwan University, Helwan University Sheikh, Zewail City University of Science and Technology, Alexandria Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology, Modern Academy and Electronics Engineering Menouf.

The organizing team of the competition has a great deal of experience and expertise in international competitions. The principal researcher Dr. Maged Ghunaima, the principal supervisor, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdul Aziz, the engineer Ali Hosni and the engineer Michael Seddany head the competion as project managers.

The EVER Egypt 2018 Rally was held under the auspices of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Administrative Capital of Urban Development, the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University and iHub.

Where the events of the race in the new administrative capital with the participation of 9 teams of Egyptian universities where the construction of roads and tracks for the race and spaces and terraces for spectators and spaces for the press and media to cover the events of the competition.

About 2,000 spectators attended, and the teams started the qualifying and final exams and then qualified them to enter dynamic events and race. Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, distributed prizes to the winning teams at the end of the race.
