Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, the Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, the Department of Special Programs at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and the British Council, is organizing a workshop entitled "Qualifying for the IELTS Test".
The workshop comes within the framework of Ain Shams University’s keenness to qualify the faculty members and their assistants at the university for international representation at all levels of education and scientific research and to enhance the role of the graduate studies and research sector and the management of programs for the Faculty of Computers and Information in developing the skills of students and researchers and improving language and research skills that allow graduates to represent the university among the world's largest computer, software and information technology companies.
The workshop is held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sheren Rady, Director of the Department of Special and International Programs at the faculty, and Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office at the university. The workshop targets students of special and international programs, faculty staff and the teaching assistants.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 15, at 11 am until 3 pm in the Seminar Hall at the headquarters of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, with the application of all precautionary measures to confront Corona virus.
The workshop will be lectured by Mr. Samer Fadel, Business Development Manager at the British Council, and Mr. Osama Al-Baili, IELTS trainer and expert at the British Council.
The workshop includes an explanation of the various sources and testing services provided, strategies for preparing for the exam in its four parts, and a review of the types of common questions in the exam.
