400 students from the Faculty of Business apply for the qualifying exams for the free English language scholarship, which is offered in cooperation with the American University

The University Center for Skills Development at the UCCD Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University held an English language placement test for faculty students applying for an English language course grant provided by the center in cooperation with the American University in Cairo.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business stated that 400 male and female students from the third and fourth year had taken the exam.

He added that the applicant must pass the pre-intermediate level or above in the placement test in order to be able to register for the free scholarship.

He also indicated that the scholarship, which consists of 12 lectures, is one of the mechanisms that are provided through the university center to develop students' skills and make them more competitive in the labor market.

He also indicated that the scholarship, which consists of 12 lectures, is one of the mechanisms that are provided through the university center to develop students' skills and make them more competitive in the labor market.

He explained that the center offers many skills development and employment programs, for example, job opportunities services in employment forums and exhibitions and job advertisements, in addition to skills development courses, specialized technical courses, project management, quality control, writing technical reports, sales, customer service, English, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Human Resource Management.

It is worth noting that the Collective Center for Skills Development (UCCD) at the Faculty of Business was established in 2018 with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and under the supervision of the American University in Cairo and Ain Shams University, with the aim of developing students' skills and qualifying them for the labor market.
