Distinguished Chinese media coverage of Rouh Al-Sharq Choir's participation in the opening of Beijing Olympics

The Chinese news agency Xinhua and the official website of the Chinese embassy presented a distinguished coverage of the participation of the Ain Shams University choir, " Rouh Al-Sharq ", in the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2000.

" Rouh Al-Sharq " team had participated with its counterpart students from the Nanjing Chinese Academy of Arts, in cooperation with the Chinese Organizing Committee for the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, to produce a joint song for the two teams, in Chinese, English and Arabic, to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.
