January 15... Faculty of Al-Alsun implements a plan to secure the first semester exams amid intensive precautionary measures

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, announced the preparations of the faculty administration to conduct the exams for the end of the first semester 2021/2022, for students of the four teams, during the period from January 15 to February 3, exams are organized daily throughout the week, three days for the first and third teams, and three Days for the second and fourth teams, amid intensive precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in cooperation with the various departments and units of the faculty, led by the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, the Medical Center, and the Faculty’s Civil Defense and Security Department.

Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that those who did not receive the vaccination will not be allowed to enter the exams, in accordance with the decisions recently taken by the Supreme Council of Universities headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stresses the keenness to take all necessary measures to ensure the proper conduct and safety of all elements of the examination process.

Adding that the number of students is distributed in the faculty halls in line with preventive measures and social distancing between students within the committees, at no less than one and a half meters.

She stressed that the Faculty administration has taken great steps to achieve maximum safety for the Faculty students during the period of their exams, as the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit has developed a proactive plan to confront the repercussions of the new Corona virus by spraying and sterilizing all halls and terraces in the Faculty before the start of exams, providing the necessary masks and gloves for members Control, members of the security and civil defense team, observers and workers assigned to conduct examinations, and provision of remote thermometers. Doctors at the medical center were warned to prepare for any emergency during exams.

Examination halls and all controls were also sterilized, and the levels of full readiness were raised by security, civil defense and occupational safety and health personnel. The faculty administration also developed a tight plan during the examination period to avoid student congestion by preparing guiding panels for the distribution of students to committees and the location of each committee, and Alert students to the need to attend at least an hour before the exam date, in addition to dividing students at the gates, considering the distances of social distancing between each student and another.

She stressed the need to warn students to wear masks and gloves when entering the university gates and during the exam period.

She confirmed that the examination panels will be sprayed and sterilized before the start of the first period and between the two examination periods under the supervision of occupational safety and health officials at the faculty, in addition to warning against crowding outlets selling food and beverages inside the faculty campus, as well as cleaning and sterilizing toilets with chlorine and soap constantly, and not allowing students to wait in the faculty campus after taking the exam, to consider the policy of social distancing, and the controls will be sterilized daily after the exam is over.

She explained that the insurance plan for the examination process included circulating instructions for preventive measures to students by preparing boards and placing them in dispersed places in the faculty, on the faculty's official website and on the departments' pages.
