Distributing laptops to students of determination at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbash, Minister of Social Solidarity and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Salah Hashem, Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity for Social Policies and General Coordinator of Solidarity Units in universities, to distribute 211 laptops to the university’s people of determination, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Rana El-Helaly, Director of the Student Service Center at the University, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Cairo Governorate, and a. Nabil Ahmed, director of projects at the Orman Association, and a. Hassan Bilal, Project Management Officer at the Association, and Social Solidarity Unit officials Ms. Reham Abdel Rahman, Solidarity Unit Coordinator, Ain Shams University, Ms. Nesma Al-Kasbagy, Protection and Economic Empowerment Officer, and Ms. Mona Abdel Muttalib, responsible for awareness activities.

         
   
         

211 laptops were provided to students with disabilities from the Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with the Orman Association, within the national initiative for equal educational opportunities for all, within the framework of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Ain Shams University and considering the university’s interest in people with disabilities and based on the National Initiative for Equal Educational Opportunities For everyone.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, for her support of the students at Ain Shams University with disabilities, expressing his happiness for the participation of his students in this important event, and thanks were also extended to the Solidarity Unit within the university for its efforts to serve students

He stressed that the university continues to support its students, especially those with disabilities, and is keen to hold protocols that are in the interest of its students.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz added that the Egyptian state and its leadership are keen to support their children of determination, whether by developing their skills or by providing the capabilities that help them excel so that they become productive and effective people within the Egyptian society, and he thanked the leaders of Ain Shams University and the university's Social Solidarity Unit for what they try to serve students, especially people of determination.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Rana El-Helali thanked the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Orman Charitable Foundation for their fruitful cooperation with Ain Shams University to help the university's students to bring joy and happiness to the students.

She also thanked the Social Solidarity Unit at Ain Shams University for its efforts to deliver solidarity services to deserving students, especially students with disabilities, stressing that the computers obtained by students with disabilities will give them a greater opportunity for achievement to help them excel.

Mr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Solidarity in Cairo Governorate, also conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Social Solidarity, Nevin Al-Kabbaj, to His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

He pointed out that considering the Egyptian state's concern for its children and considering President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's keenness to support the nation's people of determination, the National Initiative for Equal Educational Opportunities was launched, through which the state was able to donate hundreds of computers to students of determination, to meet the desired challenges. engage in the next stage.
