Towards a strategic policy change: From slum development to urban development... A symposium at the Faculty of Engineering

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Dr. Amr Sha’at, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs. The Conferences Committee of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, organized the second symposium for the academic year 2021-2022 entitled “Towards a strategic policy change: from slum development to urban development.”

Mr. Khaled Siddik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund, announced the Fund's current and future in urban development for many regions in all cities of the Republic, in the presence of a group of faculty members, teaching assistants and Faculty students from the departments of urban planning and architecture, amid strict precautionary measures.

Then Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, handed over the faculty shield to Eng. Khaled Seddik, Chairman of the Urban Development Fund.
