The Student Welfare Department at the Faculty of Archeology organized a day to explore the talents of its students under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Gaber, teacher at the Faculty of Arts and theater director.
Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, said that the goal of this day is to discover the students’ artistic talents in preparation for presenting these talents to specialists who decide to direct them in the next stages, and that the activities of this day witnessed several activities for the students of the first group, including acting, singing and drawing.
Dr. Muhammad Gaber added that the students did their best in the fields of acting and singing, and a good nucleus of a theater group emerged from them. The singing experiences revealed that a number of students need a little training and workshops to hone their voices.
Mr. Tamer Al-Assal, Director of Student Welfare Department, referred to the role of the Faculty Students’ Union in preparing and organizing this day, and the administration’s keenness to develop and push the student’s talents forward and take care of them and enroll them in various sports and artistic competitions.
