The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University is funding 48 applied research for the current fiscal year

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Applied Research Committee headed by Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir Zaki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mr. Tarek Ibrahim Ali, Director General of the General Administration of Environmental Projects, has funded 48 applied research, as 16 continuous applied research is being funded from the faculties of education, medicine, science, pharmacy, girls, agriculture, engineering, in addition to funding 32 new applied research from medical Faculties. Education, science, girls, agriculture, pharmacy, computers and information, environment, literature, nursing and engineering, were selected and approved for funding among 92 research papers that were presented to the committee for examination.

       
   
       

It is noteworthy that the committee prioritizes the research in which young researchers participate in the various faculties and institutes of the university. The committee also aims to fund research that enables the localization of technology and advanced knowledge, as well as obligating researchers to publish internationally, register a patent, or implement research practically on the ground after the completion of the research work, in a way that benefits society and serves to solve national problems in accordance with Egypt’s 2030 vision.
