Heavy turnout for Ain Shams University pavilion at the Global Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research

The activities of the Global Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research (GFHS), in its second edition, entitled (Vision of the Future) continued for the second day in a row in the new administrative capital, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in which Ain Shams University participated in a distinguished pavilion under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the General Supervisor of the Ain Shams University Pavilion in the Forum, Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the University Education Development Department.

         
   
         

The university pavilion witnessed a large influx of students, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, inspected the university pavilion, in the presence of the International Cooperation Sector team headed by Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations Sector Academic cooperation and Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, director of the University Education Development Department, general supervisor of the exhibition, and a number of faculty deans and deans.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini also participated in a panel discussion entitled “Multidisciplinary: A Necessity for the Future” chaired by Ms. Samantha Miles from Florida Atlantic University, in the presence of the international surgeon Dr. Magdi Yacoub, founder of Magdi Yacoub Heart Center, where he talked about the challenges facing medical specialties, and the importance of having interdisciplinary specialties, and also spoke in the same session, Dr. Ain Shams for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, and a number of faculty deans and vice-deans.

         
   
         

It is worth noting that the forum addresses a number of themes, the most important of which are the future of work, preparing and qualifying students and young researchers for future jobs, the needs of the local and international labor markets in light of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, and the rapid changes in employment skills and demand on the labor market. The forum also includes the establishment of a series of events and activities. , in the form of meetings, seminars, workshops, panel discussions, and scientific lectures by experts from academics, professionals, representatives of international organizations, businessmen and youth, in addition to an exhibition that includes many pavilions for participants from various public, private and international universities, and technology companies specializing in education and scientific research, international organizations, and funding bodies.

         
   
         

The Global Forum on Higher Education and Scientific Research will be held this year in harmony with the 14th session of the General Conference of ISESCO under the auspices of the President of the Republic and with the participation of 49 member states of the organization.

A number of countries of the Islamic world, as well as a number of prestigious international universities and international bodies and organizations, will participate in the forum this year, coinciding with Egypt's hosting of the fourteenth session of the General Conference of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "ISESCO".
