Within the framework of promoting twinning between Ain Shams University and the University of East London; Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the signing ceremony of an appendix to the existing cooperation agreement between the two universities to establish a representative office for the University of East London at Ain Shams University. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdullah, Vice President of the University of East London for Education, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Shehira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the International Relations Sector at the university, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs.
Under this agreement, students who are not enrolled in the university, especially international students, will be allowed to register at the University of East London to obtain bachelor’s degrees for the University of East London in accordance with the standards and requirements applied by the Quality and Accreditation Authority for British Universities.
It was also agreed to enhance methods of interactive distance learning through augmented reality applications that the University of East London uses through its “platform” dedicated to this with other international universities. “Green” by benefiting from the existing partnership between the University of East London and Siemens International in this field.
